yes it is done all the time to get the truth out of the suspect. When they get on the stand however then they are bound to tell the truth only. That is why they tell you in advance You have the right to remain silent, and the right to an attorney. You should heed those words.

yes that is very true if police want 2 get a confession out of someone they have the right 2 lie to that person in order 2 do get one. And the interrigators don't get in trouble 4 it if it helps the case.

Yep, I do it all of the time. You just cannot fabricate evidence which is not to be confused with letting someone believe there is evidence when it doesn't exist.

yes, they are allowed to lie in thier questioning
they can not lie about deals, they can't tell them they will not be charged if they confess,
But they can say they have a witness or that they have finger prints.

Yep, and if you fall for it, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Caught a guy selling crack, couldn't find the gymbag he threw away so I just told him we had it and he was facing 40 years. He pled out for 20 with a 75% mandatory.

Yes they can, but it's not ethical. However, they can't use threats or other forms of coercion in order to get a suspect to tell them what they want to hear.
