Do not attempt to whiten your teeth while you have braces. The part where the bracket it glued on will not whiten, and you'll have little square stains on your teeth. Wait until after your braces are off to attempt this.

A sonic care toothbrush, while expensive, really does help to whiten the teeth without using chemicals.

Your orthodontist should have scary pictures of people who didn't brush well. Normally people have white squares with yellow around them. Yours would be the opposite. Yellow squares with nice white teeth around them.

Maybe brush your teeth wit a toothpaste that has something in it to make your teeth whiter. What's it called again ? I forget... :s Oh & brush your teeth everyday :)

I would waite until your braces are removed because the part of tooth that has brackets cemented on will not whiten and you'll end up with darker spots on your teeth because of this then your teeth will never whiten evenly.

Braces straighten teeth and put them in the correct alignment. Wont help with getting them whiter! Try Crest Whitening Strips, they seem to be the most reasonably priced over the counter solution. Whitening toothpaste do not actually whiten, but they do a great job maintaining your results after you have whitened your teeth. Good luck!
