that's up to you sweetie!
i'm 5'9'', and my ex was 5'8''. his hair gained that inch, so we were the same height, but i had to wear flat shoes. it did bug me a little bit. we were together for 2 and a half years, and we did love each other a lot, but not everyone is perfect, and i guess that was the defect (our different heights).
i have to admit i felt manly around him. and it was very annoying to not be able to wear heels, or when we hugged, i wanted to lean my head on his shoulder, but it was too low.
when we took photos i had to slouch a little...
it did not bother me, but i wished he was taller.
i am not superficial, it is normal for a woman to want to be shorter than her man.
if you really really like him, go for it. if you don't feel that strong about him, let go and move on.
but remember to think ahead... :)
good luck girlie

If you are exceptionally tall for a female, say 5' 8" or over then there is a good chance that you will run in to this situation often. I am not a short guy by any means, but I have dated women taller than I. I see no issue with it. I do know guys that have self esteem issues with it, but to my way of thinking that is their problem. I guess what I am saying here is, if you like the dude, date him.

I am only 4 "9" I do not thin there are men who are shorter than me
You like what you like but I have never cared if a man was tall or short. So many more important qualities to worry about.

It is perfectly OK. When two people like each other hight should not be a criterium. In fact nothing in the world should stop them from dating. And I think you like him too, otherwise you would not be asking this question here. Go out with him and see where it will take you. Good luck!

I seriously doubt that you will be able to have a relationship with anyone at this point if you have to ask a silly question like that. Why would it not be ok to date someone shorter than you.

Ok everyone has different strokes, tall people(either gender) date shorter people and vice versa. Question is ARE YOU comfortable with it? Don't worry about what other people think. If you want to date short people, tall people, midgets, dwarfs whatever GO AHEAD despite other people's opinions and stuff.

There's nothing wrong with dating someone who's shorter than you, but if it bothers you that much and you'll be thinking about it often, maybe you should hold off on dating him.

I think it depends on you. If you don't mind it then do it . If it bothers you to much to give him the girlfriend he deserves then don't do it.
I was with a man for a long time that was shorter than me and it wasn't a big deal, it wasn't why we broke up

I can't believe you wasted points asking this question. What's more unbelieveable is that you really don't know the answer. Either you like the guy and want to date him or don't. What's so hard about that? Poop or get off the pot.

What's wrong being short? It doesn't matter. You're still the same. The only matter is acceptance. What if you are in his shoes? It hurts a lot.
