Whoever's telling them to go to the mythology and folklore section must be biased towards their own brand of nonsense and would not like it to be categorized as "myth." I think it would be a good idea to remove the religion & spirituality category altogether. But then Y!A would go belly up for lack of participants. Besides, it's so much fun to come up with a smartass answer to some of these questions, or read other people's answers in this category. For example, here's an answer somebody posted to the question "Do you believe in reincarnation?" -- "No, when you die you either go to heaven or hell, reincarnation is a myth." I really DID Laugh Out Loud on that one. So, if it's any help, there is some entertainment value with the attitude you refer to. Not that many people know about the Vedas or the study thereof. But if you do, by all means share the knowledge. I don't care what category you post it in. I usually just answer questions as they come up.

your are very much right, its bible and quran which are myths and folklores than facts than ramayana and mahabharatha but people in west know less of this because of the false propaganda of the media in the west ,where as there are ingnoring the most scientific relgion and oldest religion in the world and its prooved with archeagiocally that ramayana and mahabharatha have happened and even the places mentioned were unearthed ,but none in west cares to listen as they as afraid of hearing anything which existed superior to their bilbeand prior to its period remember mahabharatha happened 7000+ years and ramayana 9000+ yrs ago which is 5000 to 7000 yrs before the so called bible which no christ follower can digest in his / her whole life .They live in their own fools world that there is no religion or prior to theirs and especially hinduism because its the only religion which is more scientific.

A more pertinent question would perhaps be why are christianity, islam and judaism not also confined to the mythology and folklore section.

Some people have brainwashed tiny little closed minds. It is a shame because there is a big wide world out there with lots of interesting information that we can all learn from.

Actually I just wanted to tell you that the pictures of Lord rama, Kirshna, and ganesha are being used in horrible ways. They are putting their pictures on shoes, lunchboxes, and even on horrid things such as bikinis, and toilet seat covers!!! i am offended by those makers of such products. i just wanted a fellow hindu to know.

That's just another example of the willful ignorance, closed-mindedness and self-delusion that defines the Abrahamic death cults of desert monotheism... particularly, Christianity.
