Don't see why not. You would just be doing the work that illegals dont want to do themselves.

You would be arrested for unlawful imprisonment and possibly kidnapping. A citizen's arrest is only legally allowed if you witness a felony taking place, and being in the country illegally is not a felony.

You will be arrested for kidnapping. If you want to make a citizens arrest, look up the criminal code in your state. In Arizona, in order to make a legal citizens arrest, you must a) have a felony occur in your presence, or b) have a misdemeanor occur in your presence that causes a breach of the peace. Illegal immigration is not covered in ANY state statutes ( that I am aware of ) for citizens arrests.

Sadly no you can't.
Sounds like a good idea to me, but the INS would probablly arrest you and let hte illegal go free.
Or give the illegal a hearing to see if we should send them home.
Bunch of crap. There should be no hearings if they are not legal throw them out. Don't waste tax payer money or a hearing on someone who isn't even a citizen.

My husband is here illegally. Do you want to come and pick him up? I will give you our address.
He has gotten pulled over about 6 times in the 5 years we have been together & they let him go EVERY TIME!! They dont want him! Government does not care! We have gone to court for him speeding and the Judge never even asked him to prove his residency.
You & a bunck of freako radicals make up statistics, & propoganda and try to sell it to the rest of us. You are alone in your fight sir. Educated people know that "illegals" are a valuable part of the fabric that make us the USA.

I would be very carfueful about that. The laws are apparently in favor of foreigners over US citizens. Just call INS and report what you know. Stay out of the picture for your own good.

It would be a citizen's arrest, not kidnapping and don't never make up anything, just tell them that they were harrassing you and your family.

No you can not. It is still illegal in the USA to kidnap anyone for any reason.
What do you think you'd gain by doing this?
