over to his grammas. I need to get rid of it before he gets back, which is in a couple of hours.
I cant get to the doctor so thats not an option at the moment.
I cant have a nap either, because the pain of this migraine wont let me.
Its making me irritable as F**k and I am losing my patience, thats why I sent my son away for now.
I woke up with it, and its really hurting the hell out of me?
Anyone know what I can do to get rid of it????

I remember a TV news story about slicing and sniffing green apples as a natural remedy for migraines. I don't get them so I haven't tried it. But it's worth a shot. Good luck with the pain.

Take a shower. The water running over your head may help sooth you as well as distract you from the pain. The more you think about it the worse it will feel and the harder it will be for it to go away. After the shower just lay down on your back in a dark quiet room. Even if you can't sleep, this may help you if you can just relax and stay away from all distractions.

Take some extra strength pain killers too.

Try to be as comfortable as possible, put on your most comfortable clothes. Shut off your phone too. Good luck.

I suffer from occasional blinding migraines and it has been my experience and also been told by the doc that once the headache is here it may have to run it's course. I was also told (and it works), that if you feel the symptoms of a migraine coming on a good dose of plain ole asprin can stave off the headache. My sympathies to you. Migraines are no fun.

I went to my dr because of my migraines. He told me (this is no lie) to eat chocolate and mtn dew or a pop w/ caffeine. I thought he was kidding. I went home, had a candy bar w/ a can of mtn dew and my migraines were gone within 30 minutes.

Good Luck.

My mother had chronic migranes her whole life, and from the time I was about 6, it wasn't uncommon for me to be running the house for a week while she recovered (they were unusually bad). Unfortunatly, we didn't live near family at the time, so going to grandmas wasn't an option. But given her temper at the time (kids make noise and messes- not an appealing combination when your in pain), I really wish it would have been! Do your kids and yourself a favor and don't go it alone.

I would put a cold rag on your forhead and eyes. I suffer from Migrains and I am on medication for them. I find that helps and the room needs to be dark. I would also take 800Mg of tylonal or advil, excedrin...whatever you have.

Try Advil/Migraine it works for me (sometimes). But it's worth
the try. And personally I have prescription medication. Check
with your Dr., cause they might have something right for you.
And their right. turn off all lights ,except one ( But dim). Noise,
sensitivity to light doesn't agree with migraines.

Well a HOT bath will help. Also massage it with you fingers. Also stress as knowing your son is coming back soon will keep it around longer. Maybe you can beg grandma to keep him for the rest of the day. Going for a walk will help. I know it will be uncomfrtable but it will help
