Sure, if you need to be taught. Of course, a real, mature, and powerful man does not need such help. He (I) understands that the way to keep a woman under "control" is to lover her, respect her, and treat her as you want to be treated.
Anyone, including the Taliban, who tries to control anyone else using phisical force is either an idiot, a coward, or both.

Even though most western women boss, nag, manipulate, flirt, cry, withhold, put out, and do anything to get their way, I still don't think it is honorable for a man to strike such a woman just because he can. Best not to get in bed with such a woman in the first place. In Eastern cultures a man can whip his wife for being a bit*; in Western cultures the man either puts up with it or divorces. If he divorces, he is screwed. Divorce always favors the woman by default.
