I drink a bloody mary. That's some part vodka to some part tomato juice. I have no idea why but it helps. Well it's probably teh lycopene in the tomato juice. Lycopene is an anti-oxidant and gets rid of toxins like alcohol in your system. And vodka is good cuz you don't get drunk from it. Ever notice the hangover doesn't come till you're getting sober? Eating will also help. Once again, lotsa tomatos.
The best thing though is not to get drunk at all.

I never had a really bad hangover. I don't think it can kill you.
If you've got headache, pain, etc. you can probably take regular pain/headache medicine for those kinds of things, or if you're tired, you can take some caffiene.
I heard drinking a beer the next morning is good, but I don't know if it works. It sounds more funny than logical, but if you're having a hangover, that probably doesn't sound that funny to you.

Whenever I have a hangover, I do the following...
* Drink TONS of water
* Drink a bottle of POM Pomegranate juice because it's a known healer
* Take 2 Tyelenol
* Eat soup w/some crackers
* Try not to move, haha
* Sleep as much as possible
* And try to avoid anything that makes loud noises
Good luck and feel better :)

Back when I used to drink, I had a number of steps.
1. Somehow haul your a*s out of bed.
2. Drink a glass of water.
3. Eat a little bit of something, half a slice of bread, granola bar, chocolate bar, it doesn't matter.
4 Have a cup of coffee.
5. Take some kind of pain reliever, I prefer tylenol #1
6. Go back to bed for an hour.
After that, I usually woke up feeling better. Another glass of water is usually useful. Also, number 4 is optional, if you are feeling badly enough, you may not have the stamina to make a cup of coffee.

Before sleeping: drink a liter and a half of water. Force yourself to drink it away. Go to the toilet and take a cold shower. When you wake up in the morning (IF you wake up) you repeat the same, again a liter and a half of water. It helps against the hang-over. Try not to eat for a couple of hours and try to break a sweat with some running outside or sports of whatever kind. When you feel empty and exhausted, eat good and thorough. One good meal for that day and a strong coffee afterwards. You bet you are back in the club the same night.

Not drinking alcohol will get rid of your hangover. Failing that try drinking water and lots of it.

water/rest/tylenol/food...before going to bed a big glass of water and an aspirin usually keeps them at bay. A hangover is dehydration. You can also drink a beer now. Hair of the dog that bit you.

Ive been drinking for 15 years now, regularly. Im 35 now and i tell you, the best solution for hangovers is a effervescent tablet called
BEROCCA available in most chemists. Try it ! Just dissolve it in a cold glass of water and it even tastes great.

Exercise will help get rid of your hangover by helping the body rid itself of toxins. The increased circulation gets blood and oxygen to your oxygen-starved brain.
Also have some greasy food... helps soak up and left over toxins ...
