a little bit overweight.
My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

no you are healthy. at 5>2 you should weight about 120 so 5.1 i think you should be ok being at 120 maybe lose 5 pounds? I am 5.2 and i look great at 130! but that is with muscle and excercising 4 days a week. so if you excercise i think you are fine at 125!

I will explain the scientific easy way to find it out yourself. do you know what is BMI(Body Mass Index ) ?In adults, once you calculate your BMI, it is rather easy to interpret your results, as a BMI between 25 to 30 is considered overweight and a BMI of 30 and above is considered obese. between 20-25 is perfect and under 20 is thin. now how can you calculate it:
if you are using pounds and inches for your weight and height, the formula to calculate BMI is: BMI = [weight / (height x height)] x 703
if you are using the metric system:BMI = [weight / (height x height)]
if you need more information visit this page or search BMI calculator yourself:

no...
just remember to eat healthy
drink plenty of water
get regular exersize
But the thing you have to ask your self is do you consider yourself overweight? Do your favorite jeans fit?
If not, don't go crazy and starve yourself, use common sense and make good choices. Take walks and get fresh air, it's good for the soul.... :)

no not fat - but 17 is a good age to start a fitness program, because trust me it gets harder to stay trim the older you get. But no, you're not overweight

Nope, just eat right and exercise to keep weight off so you don't gain any. But that is about average or by american standards below average.

In todays standards I would consider you to be just fine.... don't go comparing yourself to those skin and bones models that only exist in magazines...... As long as you are healthy and maintain a healthy weight you are fine.....
healthy diet and exercise.........and be happy with what God gave you!
