Why should someone have to prove they believe a certain way when you know what you believe?

I thought simply saying and believing the shahadah and telling people you was muslim was enough to be accepted?

Well, three I know of are Israel, Singapore, and Indonesia.

And nothing has happened... Just genuinely curious, because I am required to get a certificate to even register to be married in singapore.

I think a few of them do if you want to actually immigrate. I believe Saudi needs one. I think the UAE does but that may just be for marriage purposeds. I think if you just convert that is your business but if you want to marry a muslim or immigrate you may need to be registered but only is some places and certain cases.

I never heard of any countries require a certificate of conversion when converting to Islam. It's not required by Islamic laws.

think about this captain

truly, would you think that by saying the sha.na.na and admitting youu're a muslim or having to proof it on papers really makes one a true one?

yeah maybe in the eyes of society but in the eyes of the creator?
in those mohamed period, people were moslemized by the chosen prophet..today..the self acclaimed clerics, religious leaders. who are they? the chosen ones by god to validate/legitimate?

No today's prophets so all the assumptions and conclusions
beware you religious priests,leaders-you'll be the first to stand for what you've done/preached to your followers and be thrown to the pits

god blesss your souls

According to Islam "shahada" is enough. I guess those are country regulations that are specific to some countries only.
