dearest muslim brothers and loving sisters?

Question

how should we answer the questions hurled at us one after the other, even though some arent honest and are only to provoke us? do u have a hard time controlling ur anger? or do u feel sad? i feel ultimately sad. but i dont think i can do much.

Dearest Muslim brothers and loving sisters, I am Christian and I am deeply saddened by the hateful questions hurled at you. I do wish that others would do as I have and go to the library and read about Islam and try to gain an understanding and then ask sincere, informed questions. This is the only way we can live in peace and understanding.

Alhamduli'llah! Remember that in a few days we will be entering Ramadhan, insha'allah! This is a time when, as the prophet (saw) said "If you do not also give up your anger and greed and enmity then Allah does not want your hunger."

Remember that our character and adab are two important aspects of our deen and that no matter what, we should deal fairly and justly with other people.

There is fear and ignorance abounding in the world right now, but we should be above it. My advice is to ignore the hateful questions and forgive the askers. But also to remind all our Muslim brothers and sisters that they should not be duped into un-islamic action because of the political aspirations of a very few.

This question could just as easily be thrown at christians.
You can say that 'the extremists, the fundementalists, the promoters of hate, do not represent us, they are not typical.
But when they are ordained clerics in your faith, when they quote your holy books, word for word to justify their hate and anger, how can you continue to associate with that cult?
Islam, Judaism, Xtianity -all the same, once you start to say 'there is but one god, and his name is....' whatever, all the bloodshed and misery follows as due course.
Isn't it time to abandon the myths and fables and grow up as a species???

Do an evaluation. What can you really do? Even if you're steaming mad, it doesn't make those people understand Islam. So why bother? You better off focus yourself on something productive. People's opinion are their business, your business is to show the peaceful face of Islam. That's what you should do. And that is what I believe is the right thing to do.

I guess one who chooses to come on Yahoo answers, basically chooses if they want to answer certain questions or not. If they offend you why would you keep trying to answer them. And it isn't only Muslims people on here offended and talk crap about, it is in fact everyone and everything they talk about. I think people are sensitive because terrorist are Muslim and the terrorist killed thousands of people on 9-11. We of course shouldn't stereo type anyone no matter religion or race, but I think the whole world stereo types people no matter race or religion

well if u muslims can come together on the US's side and stop the terrorrists that are making ur religion and u sound like ur all evil then maybe just maybe the american people will stop eating u alive. so to speak.
