Great question---Great question....I'm not certain that you really want the answer. However I will sum it up for you.

The United State as a Nation has nothing to do with cyclical process.
Historicly the United States is from the Israelite tribe Manaseh. Britian/ Canada/ Australia/ and South Africa are from the tribe of Ephriam.....
I will keep it short. The prophecys spoken of in the Bible that are to happen to
Israel are going to happen to the afore mentioned Nations.... There is going to be ten Nations from Europe, (which are forming and comming into power at this moment) led by Germany come very soon and kill one third of the citizens of these Nations and take capative the rest.

(1) If you know anything about history, then you know that nations don't always go through those stages, but that there's always some armchair philosopher coming up with glib systems like that one. (2) The website below, "truth or fiction dot com," which tries to sort out facts from rumors, says there really was a Scottish historian by that name, but that the quotation you've given is what they call an "eRumor" that's been circulating on the internet for a while, but it has never been found in his writings, and so is thought to be fictitious. I agree, because I don't think a Scottish historian of that era (or perhaps any) would come with something that sappy.
