You got a ticket for going 5 over the speed limit? That's one tough cop. Most cops won't stop you until you're going 10 or more over the speed limit. You can most likely get it dropped...
Happy early birthday!

Depends on your insurance agency. Probably in around 25% increase if you are lucky. Depending on the State you have a couple of options. You could take a defensive driving course and have the ticket removed (some states allow this). You could approach the court and ask for deferred adjudication. You pay the fine and court costs and as long as you don't get another ticket in 6 - 12 months, it simply goes away. Of course this is all subject to the laws of the State you received the ticket in. Talk to a lawyer if you want to try and fight to keep it off your record.

If you are eligbile to ride a scooter and exceeded the speed limit then the ticket will be your responsibility - if you are old enough to do it and do it wrong, then you should pay!
I don't know how much your insurance will rise. It is not a conviction as such so perhaps you don't have to declare it to your insurance company. Check your policy terms and conditions.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

First of course your insurance could even cancell you, since they watch young drivers very closely. But I would bet on about a 15 percent increase in the cost

Oh a whole bunch depending on your state, plus a surcharge or two, plus a fine, plus a possible loss of your insurance and a delay in getting a real license - nothing much really.

go to the court before the ticket payment is due and ask to go before the Magistrate
they will listen to your case and give you the penalty of the financial fees But drop the points so insurance will not go up

Becuase you are a young driver, like myself, it will probably go up some. It probably won't be like $1000, but it might be a hundred or so. They picked you up for going 5 over. Good thing i don't live you do. o yeah and happy birthday!!

your parents will be paying a lot more provided they don't ask to reclassify the policy and add risk to it 100 dollars and court cost will cover the ticket
