Uncomplimentary comments are made every day about Catholics, Christians and Jews, but they don't go out and bomb, kill and injure those affiliated with the comments. However, the Muslims seem to always react in a violent manner at even the most casual comments about their religion, which I believe only proves the Pope was truthful in his statement. What do you think?

Pope told the truth only. The whole world knows that Islam is the only religion that speaks of “Jihad” (Holy War). Less religious Muslims (nominal Muslims who do not know much of Islam and Quaran ) tolerate other religions with a view to be good with everyone either socially or politically. Highly religious Muslims the world over meditate and follow what is told in Quaran which urges them to fight for the cause of Allah and kill pagans wherever they are found. Whenever believers meet unbelievers, Muslims are encouraged to smite their neck and to fight those who believe not in Allah and the last day (2:244; 47:4; 9:5; 9:29).
No doubt, Pope told the truth. By apologizing to the Muslims, Pope proved the fact that Christians are forgiving and tolerant. By resorting to violence, Muslims proved that they are what Pope was concerned about.

You are 100% accurate. They need to leave the Pope alone. Let by gones be by gones. It takes a strong person to forgive and accept an apology. What else do they want, to kill our beloved Pope ? What would that accomplish ??? Good Grief, get over it. They need to take a chill pill and drop it. I say Stop it Now !! I am not a Catholic, but I would feel as strongly about other people from other countries, It is freedom of Speech. Sticks and Stones, can break my bones, but words can not harm me. They better leave the Pope alone.

Yes, I believed you are correct, moreover, the Pope has spoken and he have said in the right time what needed to be said. In this times of uncertainty, to make once again known as the head of Catholicism in the World. Not only by pronouncing him self in this issues, he have lift the image of the Catholic Church once more and into a new level of participation and concern for the wicked way Humanity and the World are been driving by the works of evil doers, Also, I believed it has open a new avenue, as well than he has maintain open the communication channel, that in the future him-self can access, once more to keep his voice life and sound, to reinforce the Bible doctrine, as well the devotion of Catholicism a life, and ready to take in one more peaceful fight. The Pope words are a just Like God Words, of a double edged Sword. Just keep listening all of the criticism, that will sound to me, more and more in his favor, because he is the representation and the Voice of God and Jesus in the darkness of this World to day, and that is the way it will be, until the completion of Jesus second coming

..I cant believe I am about to agree with the Catholic church....
But A valid point is a valid point none the less, and the way I see it, Out of all 3 of the middle eastern death cults, ( Judaism, Christianity and Islam) the only modern incarnation of these three that still embraces violence is Islam. at the slightest provocation they resort to the sword. and i also know that this is not the work of all Muslims, but the majority of the religious violence that is reported on in the world , Islam is involved. I do not believe that is coincidence.

I think when you've decided to dedicate your life to hatred and death, it doesn't matter what anybody says or does. It's gonna be used as fuel by you to fan those flames of hatred and violence, to give yourself an excuse to commit any atrocity your deranged imagination can conceive. Poor jihadist extremists. People, just sit back and imagine this scenario.

Good little Muslim cannon fodder laps up the BS, trains like a devoted slave and goes on his mission. He is successful. He blows himself up along with a lot of innocent bystanders. Now what?

If there is no God, he's just wasted the only life he'll ever have. He just ceased to be, and uselessly, because now all he is is worm food.

If there IS a God, he gets to explain the reasons for his hate and destruction to a Deity who is all about love and creation. OOOPS!

well that simply shows that the muslims have more faith in their religon than the christians... making a caricature of an islamic holy prophet, who even american magazines said was the most influental person in the world over jesus, is something that you should expect this kind of from. They were making a point to the world that they are firm beleivers in their religon and that people should not insult it.

Yes. The actions of Muslims prove the Pope's words correct. And, as we all know, actions speak louder than words.

I think terrorists start with a fundemental belief, then once they experience unbridled violence, they simply use their beliefs as an excuse to committ atrocities. They can go out and act outrageously with no guilt because - afterall they have convinced themselves it is for their God.
