When you have a French yahoo nick name, why go for English or Scandinavian? I always have this dream that I would end up with identical twin daughters (runs in the family!). Their names would be Sophie and Simone and they would be known as Sophie and Simi! That's my thoughts and being half Dutch and half French, I think the latino thing is romantic and cute!!

The name SELINA is a lovely name, it is an old name as that was the name of my great great grandnmother.
Wishing you all the best for you and your daughter whatever you decide to call her.

Not essentially Scandanavian, but teutonic (not 100% sure I have spelt that right) I can recommend "Eloise" meaning "warrior Maiden" pronounced el o eese
Good luck

Wow, my birthday is on the 28th! Well anyway, I think that you should name her something that you think is nice. I like names that have soulful meanings. My brother's name is Matthew and that means "Gift of God", so I like it a lot.

i think you should let the woman who has
carried her in her body for nine months and
put up with the pain and
weight inside her and
the wieght she has probably put on
give your daughter the name.
