We are being stalked by several neighbors whose identity is known, and real crimes are being committed against us. The Sno Co sheriff does not respond to 911 calls we make (less than a double handful in the last 10 years) Death threats, harassment, theft, attempted intimidation, destruction of property, defamation of character, slander are among the MANY hate crimes these people commit. Is there a government agency that will help with situations like this?

Keep records, pictures of these people, try to get them on video (many cams have night vision these days). Record with witness the date, times and who you spoke with at 911 each time you call. Get an attorney and file charges against sheriff for obstruction of justice. Turn over proof to local or national news. That should get ball rolling. Good luck. (It's call shotgun effect)

The sheriff is an elected official, and the highest level of law enforcement in the county, with sole jurisdiction on county crimes. Complain to the Board of County Commissioners, since they fund the sheriffs office, or the District Attorney.

If they are committing a federal crime, see if the FBI, ATF or another federal agency will handle it.

You can always take the civil suit route and sue the stalkers in court too.

On the other hand, the sheriff may have decided that you are a crackpot, and so will everyone else.

It always helps the Yahooligans here in providing a best possible answer, to know a little bit more about the events. In your case, the sheriff won't respond anymore. But they probably made it known to you 'why' they won't help. Even though you don't agree with their answer and/or procedure, it would help to know the 'why' of their story. What did they say? You've probably already complained bitterly to them and there's been alot of interaction already. Describe some of that.

No, sounds like your top cop is a wimpy Bush supporter.
I feel bad for you, but you live in an area of the US that is now infested with the mexican cock roach. All you can do now is take back your street, block & city. How do you do that ? By Force, their has to be many other law abiding people in your area that is sick of these law less, blood suckers. Band together as they are doing, fight fire with fire, weapons with weapons. intimidation with intimidation. If your local cops are not willing to enforce the law, then take it into your own hands & fix the problem.

You might check if you can report it to the FBI.I know of cases where sherrifs were busted for drug dealing and the FBI was the ones that got them.
