Start your eggs in cold water and bring up to a boil. Boil for 10 minutes then dump the water out and run cold water over the eggs. Once they have cooled down a little, put ice cubes in the pot and fill with water. The ice cold water will make the egg shrink away from the shell making peeling easier. Let them set in the ice water for about 15 min.

The best way to boilegggs is to start with cold water, let water come to a COMPLETE BOIL.Then turn OFF the stove and let eggs sit for about 10 min.(PUT LID ON POT) This process cooks your eggs perfectly and when you turn your stove off and lewt the eggs sit, when you peel them that brownness thats usually on the yolk wont be there. Its really neat for when your making salads. The egg looks more appitizing...Then just drain the water and run cold water over them for about 5 min. When peeling, just roll egg on counter or in hands to crack all f the egg.peeling should be easy.If not then hold egg under cool water WHILE you peel it.

Start eggs in cold salted water and bring to a boil for ten minutes. After boiling place pot under cold running water for several minutes then dump some ice cubes in the pot to really cool them down for another fifteen minutes and they should be good to peel rather effortlessly.

Whether I boil 1 egg or a dozen, I always start with COLD water.
Add about a teaspoon of salt to the water.
With a CLEAN, STERILIZED needle or pin, poke a hole in the ROUNDED end of the egg, just about 1/8", (or far enough into the egg to go through the shell, but to NOT break the yolk).
Bring water to boil, cover, turn down to simmer for 14-15 minutes.
IMMEDIATELY put eggs, (not the salted water), into a bowl of ice water, until cool enough to handle. (This prevents the 'green' ring around the yolk.)
Crack them all over on the edge of the sink, then gently roll between your palms to loosen the shell. It should come right off.
Let us know if this works for you.

always start with room temp water, put the egg(s) in and then once the water start boiling let go for 8 minutes, turn it off and let it stand for 1 or 2 minutes then put them under the faucet and drop cold water and peel them right then and there while warm is the easiest way to go.

Put eggs in water in a saucepan and when the water comes to a boil you want to boil them for 18 minutes. When they are done just run cold water in the pan to cool them.
