I would - but my husband is already in and right now 1.his career is more important (we have 4 children) 2. I have health issues 3. is one person from the marital company enough?
Thank you for your service by the way.
Actually I was going to join the marines when I was 18 until my dad told me it was dumb - and being the daddy's girl I am I didn't do it. Then I had an abusive husband who would not allow me to fulfill my dream of being a cop - and then I married an army man - who wants me to be what I want - and we had children right away - and now I have the peripheral neuropathy. So it's not like I haven't tried - and you understand how difficult it would be to be dual military - especially if nobody in our families could really handle the 4 children - they either have too many themselves - or are too old.

The Republicans are fighting the war. It's the democrats that want us to run with our tails between our legs. I, too am a Veteran and was in the Middle east in the 90's the first time we went. We should have finished the job the first time and we wouldn't be there now.

Rephrase your question because I can't tell if your bashing the Republicans or standing up for them or what. Also, use your "check spelling" to correct you spelling. It makes it easier to read and makes you look more intelligent. Also, your more likely to get honest answers if you don't go around insulting people. and no, not all of us dodged the service sir. Almost 3000 young men and women have already paid the ultimate price, so be nice.

Are you saying there are none over there? Is everyone that's fighting over there a Democrat?
Please present us with the exact breakdown of Democrats, Republicans, Independents and others who are over there. Then, you can even make a stronger case for your question if turns out that none are Republicans.
If there are Republicans over there, then maybe you could interview them and ask them why they're figthting.

Because you have to understand that republicans would rather tell you how to think and act instead of fighting for themselves. Thats what guys like me and you do, die for their beliefs they are trying to impose on us. The radical conservative right wont last much longer, no extremist group ever does...

That's spelled "medals."
No, I'm not a Republican.
I don't know why the Republicans aren't fighting the war. But I agree, if you mean they shouldn't be running their mouths about it and not doing anything.

A better question might be, why aren't they fighting the war correctly?
