and there was no cream inside the doughnut... now I don't know if it is a Florida thing.. but all the long johns i've ever had .. there was cream in it.. that tasted like boston cream... any ideas on whose right or if there is more than one kind of long john???

I'm an Illinoisian, and long johns come in three ways here: unfilled, jelly filled, and cream filled.

Look at the short ends next time for the fill hole, and you'll be able to tell what kind you have.

Sounds to me like he is trying to dump his problem in your lap. Don't let him do that. He needs to be honest with his wife, if he thought that he might get back with her he should have never brought that other woman into it. If this woman moves in you will end up taking care of her, you don't want that. Friends are for friendship, not for using. he shouldn't have even asked you to help in this way. He could tell her to get a job so that she can take care of herself. But if this woman moved into the house that he and his wife shared he needs to move anyway. So tell her to get a job and leave her. She will fly or flop, depending on if she is lazy or not.

Long Johns don't contain cream....eclairs do.
