Ok, I am going out with a guy I have known and liked for about 2 years. Now that we are going out, it is kind of awkward. But here's the problem: I like someone else now. I like another guy, and I started liking him before me and my boyfriend started going out. I really like my boyfriend, but not as much as the other guy. What do I do?

The best thing you can do is be honest with yourself and your boyfriend. No relationship can last without it. He will also appreciate your being truthful once he gets past any hurt that may result from your statement. There is no reason for you to feel guilty about your feelings. Better to let him know now than find out later on his own.

1. Tell your boyfriend. If you're having thoughts about another guy without telling him, you're disrespecting him as a person and a friend.
2. Ask if you can take some time off and date NO ONE.
3. Take two weeks off. Talking to your boyfriend on the phone is o.k. Talking to the "possible guy" is not. After two weeks of seclusion from your boyfriend, if you feel that you still want to try things with boy #2, then end things with your boyfriend.
Again: DO NOT talk to the possible guy until you figure things out with your boyfriend. That would be cruel.

If you don't like your boyfriend as much as this other guy, then the best idea would be to leave your boyfriend.
You don't have to let him down hard, just tell him it's not working out and that you hope you can still be friends sort of thing.
I mean, if you like someone else and you're dating another person, it's not all that fun.

Been There! I had a boyfriend of two years when I was in high school when all of sudden I met someone else who made my heart beat so fast and made butterflies float around in my stomach every time we would see each other around or talk. I eventually fell in love with that other guy. I can not tell you what you should do because it is your life but I can tell you that you have to live with every decision and its consequences...and any regrets.
