Yes is can.Any type of anemia can do so from lack of oxygenation of the cells. In most cases your body won't be producing enough hemoglobin.Hemoglobin is a blood component that transports oxygen to the mitochondria of the cell. There are many causes of anemia depending on which form you have.Iron supplementation is usually recommended but a doctor must first decide which type you have.See a doctor and have a blood test if you have not done so already.High dosages of iron over time can be toxic so in this case don't try to self medicate.

think so yes, because you don't have enough red bloodcells, therefore can not transport as much oxigen as you would generally be able too and therefore your brains might suffer from lack of oxigen which indeed causes headaches and dizziness and feeling sick and all that. if you're in doubt, go see a doctor about it or make sure you eat plenty green, fresh vegetables, drink dark beer (the english kind, like guiness) or drink sirop of some kind, anything to raise your iron level in your blood. if this doesn't help after a few weeks: go see a doctor.
you might also try getting more sleep cause lack of sleep can lead to the same symptoms and most people underestimate what lacjk of sleep can do to a person!

Most definitely, if your system is run down, or your food intake is a bad or too small a diet then you need a course of Iron Tablets.
If this does not work and you still sre getting the headaches and dizzy feelings, then see a GP, it could be more serious. Also the headaches could mean you need to see an optician, but your GP will advise you on that. This could lead to hospital checks, but they should sort you out, so don't worry too much about it.

Hello,
Anemia results in low-carrying oxygen capacity, hence disrupting to varying degrees normal functions of end-organs, such as brain, kidney, heart, which may further results in symptoms of fatigue, dizziness, lightheadedness, ...etc.
Please, consider that guidelines for anemia are different for men and women, as the latter may menstruate excessively causing the above symptoms on a more regular or sustained intervals of time.
Other causes may include, but not be limited to, low folic acid, low vitamin B 12, thyroid disorder, infectious diseases, drug/alcohol-induced impairment of red blood cell synthesis, or some of many genetic predisposition.
Best be checked by your physician by asking for a thorough medical evaluation.
Hope this helps.

Probably the most common symptom - but usually in quite bad anaemia if that is happening. Get yourself some ferrous sulphate from pharmacist, but you should go to the doc if you do't know the cause - ? stomach ulcers, heavy periods, poor diet etc
