there are a couple of places:

a) Your local veterinarian office does (most do) have a book with pictures of dogs/pets that people want to sell or give away to a good home.

b) An ad in the newspaper often gets results... HOWEVER, in the interest of the pet, make sure that it is to a family and not to an organization who/that experiments on animals

After posting on the websites, you should try putting up signs. Take a picture, and post where found, then put up the signs in a 5 mile radius at pet stores, and vets. Also, take the dog to a vet to see if it is microchipped, or has a tattoo.

Try going to your local food market, see if they have a bulliten board or something, or u could try a library.

Also, you can get an add in a newspaper.

or put up signs around your neighbor hood.

I wouldnt recomend ebay tho!

Good luck!

Petfinders.com is a great place to place an ad and find a dog.

Try Craig's list they don't charge you for posting. I hope your area has such a thing.
