lots and lots of advise...i get migraines from time to time but i dont do medicine only herbs n stuff... i could start by recommending gentle ginger which is good for headaches particularly with nausea as well, you could try 'migrastick' which you can buy in most good health food stores...this is a menthol/eucalyptus essential oil in a little bottle which has a rollerball(like roll on deodorant, lol) and you just apply it(sniffing it helps too)where your pain is( i use this a lot,its really good) you could try feverfew tincture(fresh is foul...really bitter). Some people use lavender but i dont find this helps too much. Another really good treatment i found for headaches is acupuncture...its is fantastic for headaches/migraines...give it a try if its an ongoing problem, anyways hope that helps a bit...hope you havent got one now, chat soon :0)

1. When is the last time you had a headache? Couple of years (regular one) 2. What did you take for your headache? Advil 3. When is the last time you had a hangover headache? About a week ago 4. What worked for this headache? Time 5. What doesn't work at all for your headaches? Banging my head against a wall 6. Do you get dull headaches or throbbing headaches? I usually do not ever get headaches. When I do (regular ones) they are usually dull. A hot bath or real good massage works wonders. A chiropractor may help too to get you back in working order!

I have this problem as well. I went through a whole lot of stuff to try and figure it out. One thing that helped alot was to completely stop ingesting anything with caffiene. This was part of the Doctor's discovery process (which included eye exams, back exams and tests for migranes).
But then I read something somewhere and decided to try it. It's very simple and it works most of the time.
Drink 8 oz. of water every 10 minutes for 1 hour.
I know... it sounds ridiculous. But what I read told me that most headaches are simply the result of being mildly dehydrated. By drinking water like that, you rehydrate your tissues and the headache goes away.
Since I discovered this, I try to drink alot more water on a daily basis. The frequency of my headaches have decreased dramatically.
Hope this helps. It worked for me and my daughter.

first of all go and get your eyes checked if there is something up with your eyes that can cause headaches u might need glasses

secondly try to lie down in a dark room when you get the headaches there is a medience called 4head that works really well. migraines are bad for this.

also some thing you have eaten might trigger your headaches
cheese and citrus fruits are common headache starters. so if you get a headache write down what you ate before it and you mite see a pattern appear.

good luck

When I get a head ache I try to take a small nap. Make the room as dark as possible and as quiet as possible, darkness somehow has an effect on lowering the pain. I also place a cool wet towel on my forehead.
I try to stay away from pills. This works for me.
10 -15 minutes does it for my headaches. I have had a few my sister says they are migraine headaches.
Good luck I hope it works for you, like it does for me.

Sounds like you suffer from migraines. They are very hard to get rid of once you have them. The best thing is to prevent them from coming. My doctor prescribed me Topamax. It is something you take daily to prevent the onset of a migraine. I have been taking it for about 3 months and I have only had one migraine.

Keep a log of all your activity, what you are eating and when you get the headaches. I did that for 6 months and I found out that I cannot eat dairy and red meat at the same time. It induces my headaches. I miss cheesburgers...
