Im a skeptic & always must have logic for my believes. I always talk 2 Christians hoping 2 get stomped by a statement I can't refute but it never happens. When it comes down to the wire the same defenses are 'faith' and 'free will', or just insults. Free will doesn't exist, and faith is merely believing in what you don't have proof 4.
Question that no 1 could defend:

Does God have Free Will?
He already has been ruthless and killed his own children in the past for eating some freakin fruit. Do you think if he can and has free will, won't decide to destroy us all or torment us for all eternity? How do you know; you can't know the mind of God can you?
Some of you always say he does but he just won't be evil. Like I said, he has already allowed for a Hell to exist and no matter how good of a person I am I'll burn in it because I don't believe in it or Jesus. What about the innocent children & people he killed just 2 make a point? Rape, torment, murder; how far can an all-powerful god go

For CJS

"The glory of Israel will fly away like a bird, for your children will die at birth or perish in the womb or never even be conceived. Even if your children do survive to grow up, I will take them from you. It will be a terrible day when I turn away and leave you alone. I will love them no more because all their leaders are rebels. But now Israel will bring out her children to be slaughtered." O LORD, what should I request for your people? I will ask for wombs that don't give birth and breasts that give no milk. And if they give birth, I will slaughter their beloved children." Hosea 9:11-16

"The Lord on his part has forgiven your sin: you shall not die. But since you have utterly spurned the Lord by this deed, the child born to you must surely die." Samuel 12:11-14

Its hard to get them to that honesty threshold when it comes to answring critical thinking answers about their religion. Its like a mental block is there, and no matter what they wont take it down.

In the end no matter how hard you try, they will either insult, or throw out the "god can do anything answer".

Free will doesn't exist!

So, you admit the Devil MAkes you do it!

That's a defense. I let him have sex with me even though I didn't want to, because I had no free will

I spent all my rent money on clothes at Victoria Secrets because I have no free will.

If you have no free will we should be able to INDOCTRINATE you into anything!

Atheists make just as many insults except you may not see them as insults.

The Bible is Hooey!

That's an insult.

The Bible is a Joke

That is an insult used regularly by atheists

Atheists use phrases like Chrstians are a bunch of whackoes

That's inusulting.

It is wonderful that you have such a Strong interest in God and Jesus. The main thing that will help you, is to learn to know what is the true thing. Adam and Eve, were not killed by God. Eve ate the forbidden fruit and then they were instilled with wisdom. Jesus (God) did not kill innocent children, so I dont know where you get that. Start reading the Holy Bible. In there is can answer your fears and questions. Get some one to help you understand. When reading the Bible, you have got to read more then just one sentence. It will all explain itself. But you can't fully understand, just by your own selected scripture.
The only time you will get a sharp reply, is if you have slandered or Mocked the word of God. Then the Christians quickly come to God's defense. I want for you to be saved and know the wisdom and Love that we all contain, from knowing the true way. I will pray that someone helps you to understand the true meaning and the word of God. Take care and may God bless you , Always. It says Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and Thou Shalt be Saved.

Where are you getting your information? God didn't just kill innocent people to prove a point. God didn't just set up a hell for people to burn in either. Satan was the start of that because he went against God and His goodness. Satan was one of God's angels before he rebelled against Him. This created Hell. Satan was giving power over the earth, which is why the world is so messed up and full of sin. Now ask yourself, if you choose to follow Satan throughout your life, then why would you expect to live with the Lord in Heaven. Does this make God unloving, no! God does love you and wants the best for you, but again you have free will to choose Him or choose Satan. Jesus came to earth to walk as a man, teaching, and ultimately dying for our sins. Now if we don't accept that, then our sins are not covered.
It's our choice.

If you really want the facts, you need to look further into the Bible and historical facts. Based on what you wrote, with all due respect, you have a warped view of what really took place.

you fairly shouldn't crew all Christians at the same time, it really is such and vast a quite some crew. you do not sound like you're curious on the justifications for the idea in Christianity. in case you fairly are curious, then I recommend asking a priest about his/her spirituality, and elements up insulting Christians. i imagine you're tearing down Christian credibility by employing judging a large faith on some human beings you've encountered and requested about their beliefs. also, no individual needs any style of protection for his or her beliefs. each person can position self belief in something that they prefer to. perhaps this is the way that you ask the question. Your attacking them (that could want to be the in basic terms way you would possibly want to get a protection). try being open to their recommendations and prepared to study. then you actually might want to get some logical and psychological solutions.

Christians, like anyone else, all deal with the human condition. . .and when we become frustrated, defenses usually rise. Some people, without the proper communication tools, feel that their only option is to shout, yell, complain or become angry. We, and they too, realize at some level that it is a poverty of communication. But, perhaps the more they have to think/discuss these issues, the more they will think about them and arrive at a variety of conclusions. Afterall, life is a process, isn't it.

An all powerful God can go as far as He needs to make a point. Freewill does exist. You are exhibiting it by choosing freely not to believe in God.Faith is belief, however, I have faith that I will not be spun off the earth because of gravity. Can I see or touch gravity? No, But I can see it's effects in motion. I cook on a natural gas stove so I have faith it will get hot in my oven at some point. I cannot see natural gas, but again I can see it functioning. Can I see God? No, but I can feel the change in my peacefulness and I can see the difference in my life that belief in Him has given me. If He does not exist, what have I really lost? Nothing. Is it not the same for a child who has an imaginary friend? Does it hurt anyone if he talks to his "friend" and gets joy from it? No. So why should it bother anyone if I believe in God and decide to praise Him as often as I can? I do not go out and push Him in anyone's face. If someone wants to talk to me about God in a non combative way then I will simply be able to explain what he has done for me. I cannot tell what he did or does for anyone else or even what he could do for you, but I believe He can do all things and I have faith that if you wanted Him to He could change things for you to.
In so far as the rapes and murders and such that he allows to happen. I believe everytime one of his children suffers, he is there to hold their hand through it , to help them cope with it, or if need be to pick them up and carry them home. He is with the grieving family members, holding their hands, shedding tears to match theirs and asking quietly for them to lean on his shoulders because he can help you through it. God did not kill the innocents, neither did he interfere. Life progresses for everyone and it is not for us to understand why. If the lord chose to give my son Autism, perhaps he did so to make me stronger and a better parent. I certainly have learned to be more patient and to use my creativity to help my child cope. Someone someday may be greatly influenced by my son. If he only reaches one life and turns it around for good, then his purpose has been fulfilled. That is my belief.

God does have free will, and only destroys His creation when He has first warned them (repeatedly) of the consequences of their actions. He longs for people to come to repentance so that He doesn't have to resort to extreme measures. He says through Ezekiel, "'Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked?' says the Lord God: 'and not that he should return from his ways, and live?" (Ezekiel 18:23)

You mention that if no matter how good you are, you'll burn in hell if you don't believe in Jesus. I have two points about that. First, you aren't good. As it is written:

"Not even one person is righteous. No one understands. No one searches for God. All have turned away. Together they have become worthless. No one shows kindness, not even one person! Their throats are open graves. With their tongues they practice deception. The venom of poisonous snakes is under their lips. Their mouths are full of cursing and bitterness. Their feet are swift to shed blood. Ruin and misery mark their ways. They have not learned the path to peace. There is no fear of God before their eyes." (Romans 3:10-18)

Second, God has provided you the one way to avoid hell. Is it His fault that you refuse to take advantage? If you were in a plane that was crashing, and someone offered you a parachute to escape, but you said, "No! I'm afraid of heights!" and didn't jump from the burning plane, whose fault is it that you die when it crashes? The guy who offered you the parachute? The guy who made the parachute? It is the same way with God. You refuse the way of escape, and then condemn the very one who made the way out.

Hell was not made for people. It is clear from the Scriptures that hell was made for the devil and his angels. (Matthew 25:41) People who go there have to walk over Christ's dead body to get there.

Lastly, you sit there in condemnation of an Almighty God who holds your very breath in His hands, and loves you with deep compassion, yet you spit in His face because He didn't do things the way you want. There's a verse made just for such an occasion: "On the contrary, who are you-mere man that you are-to talk back to God?" (Romans 9:20)

And God sits there waiting for you to come to your senses, (possibly in vain) as He says, "All day I have held out my hands to a rebellious people, who walk in ways that are not good, pursuing their own imaginations; a people that continually provoke me to anger to my very face..." (Isaiah 66:2-3a)

you have a right to believe they way you want or don't want because of free will and the freedom to worship as you choose here in The United States thanks to the separation of Church and State. I may not agree with your thoughts and ideas but I will defend with my life your right to believe the way you do. will also respect your right to believe or not believe if you in return respect my right to do the same.
