she says she still has feelings for the ex altho they surely arent the same as before. They have a child together so I understand the obvious reasons they would still be involved. She and I have a great friendship and there is a deep bond we share. We do have a physical relationship as well. The ex lives out of town and only comes here on the weekends. The ex is not at all fond of me in any way shape or form. I become non-existent when the ex is around. I do get phone calls and sometimes my "g/f" does visit when the ex is in town but still it is not a fully committed relationship on either part. What would you do? Stay or go even tho you have deep rooted feelings for this person and you know they feel very strongly as well........just not strong enough to make the leap.......any ideas?

personally, I would have a talk with her and tell her how you are feeling. If after talking to her you don't see any changes then yes I would leave her be for a while, may be she just needs that time apart to realize what she wants. GOOD LUCK

As long as she isn't still sleeping with her ex there is nothing wrong with her being close to him for the childs sake as a parent and a divorced one i can honestly say that even though i am remarried and love my husband the father of my children will have a special place in my heart forever not that im in love with him or want to be with him i don't just that no matter what we will retain that bond
