I hear him in the rustling of the leaves on a warm summer night, in a babbling brook in a mountain stream, in the gentle rain in the spring, in the rustling of a wheat field, in the crackling of a camp fire, the conka shell lying on the beach, when the ocean waves crash against the rocks, and in the mighty winds that blow across the plains, in the thunderous bolt of lightning, in the laughter of a small child, and in my spirit as He gently touches my heart..

For me it's just a feeling of knowing that God has told me something. I can't say I hear His voice the way I can hear another person's voice. The feeling I get when I hear Him is indescribable. Oftentimes He leads me to questions to answer here that I have absolutely no clue what to say. All of a sudden, the words just come pouring out and I know it is Him speaking through me.

I've only spoken with the Goddess Bast. She was in cat aspect, so to hear her voice at all was amazing. Deep, quiet, and raspy.
Almost forgot...spoke with Shiva in a dream once. He sounded like a normal dude.

It sounds like a calm deep quiet voice. This usually happens when I pray.

it is an individual experiance
you might hear a booming voice or just get a feeling but you will know when it is him.
(be carefull when you are hearing. the devil and demons can make you think you are hearing god)

You need to develope a relationship with God yourself, and build on that, so you can be privilaged to hear Him for yourself. We can't begin to describe it to you.

neither can they proof that and nor can you disprove it...
hearing God's voice is personal experience... it doesn't matter to anyone else. if any person claims that he talked to God.. its between him and God.
believing that person is a blind belief

When you try to talk to god... that's called 'prayer'.
When you think you hear god talking to you... that's 'schizophrenia'.
