Ive only ever hered of putting a rabbit in a trance...but im sure it would be possible for a cat too. to do it for a rabbit you are supposed to put it on its back (hold it like a baby) and pet its face slowly. it starts to relax and its head will flop backwards and you can pretty much keep it like that until you move it or scare it.... it'll probably work the same way....good luck!

In order for you to put ANYONE (people, or animal) in a trance , they would have to focus on on what you are instructing them to do. This is the main reason why a person cannot be hyponotized agaist his will. No concentration, no trance.

if he is relaxed he must be extremely relaxed get a charm on a stirng or something so its elongated then then chant words of ur choice that mean something then try again or google a way to put it in a trance hope it works
