It's sad when someone who claims to respect the bible actually insults or even advocates attacking a peaceful preacher. Sad but completely expected.
(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching... You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
Incidentally, the typical Jehovah's Witness knocks at hundreds of doors each year. He has already experienced degrading behavior from householders, some of whom: stand there naked, mimic Satanists, proposition lewd acts, brandish weapons, sic dogs, scream profanities, accuse crimes, and call Witnesses anti-American (inside the USA) or pro-American (outside the USA).
Haven't anti-Witnesses ever heard of 'hedging your bets'? Simple risk vs. reward analysis should make anyone very reluctant to abuse these ministers.
(Acts 5:38,39) I say to you, Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, you will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, you may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”
Jehovah's Witnesses are going to knock on your door unless you specifically and unequivocally tell them that you do not want them knocking, or if they fear for their own safety. Nothing else will really deter them, so you would be going to a lot of effort to accomplish nothing but pleasing Satan.
Really, if someone goes out of their way to disregard Christian preachers and preaching, what is he saying about himself?
(Luke 10:1-17) After these things the Lord designated seventy others and sent them forth by twos... “He that listens to you listens to me too. And he that disregards you disregards me too. Moreover, he that disregards me disregards also him that sent me forth.”

Because they are wasting our time and are pushy. They don't take no for an answer but come back later. Just like surveyors and telemarketers, they belong to a class of people who bug us without compensating us for the time and inconvenience. By demonstrating a little bit of attitude, maybe we can make life a little less pleasant for them, thereby discouraging people from knocking on doors and trying to impose their belief systems on others.

Because I have told them 1,985,760 times that I'm not interested and they keep coming to my door (and they are exactly the same three that knocked on the door last time). I don't think I will change my mind in one week after being a Catholic for 28 years and having said that for 1,985,760 times already.

Because the come again-and-again-and-again even though they were not invited. And, as if that were not rude enough behavior, they proceed to tell you how you should live you life and, of course, you CANNOT be living a good life unless you live your life THE WAY THEY TELL YOU TO.
So, in summary:
1. They violate your home, your time, your space, and your life,
2. Just so they tell you that you are living an evil and bad life,
3. That they know this because they know the ONLY way to
live a good live, and therefore
4. they are better than you, but
5. they are so nice and good that will tell you how to live you life,
and
6. that means you have to live your life according to their rules, or
7. be condemned to spend all of eternity in Hell
Of course, I only listened to it once.
Now, I give them the choice of:
1. leaving immediately without saying one word, or
2. I will show them a shortcut to Hell.

Sorry, but it is not my responsibility to tell every stranger I see not to come to my house. It is their responsibility to either stay away or, after their first and only visit make sure that THEY REMOVE ME from their territory.
I already don't want to talk to them. I'm sure as hell not going to do their work for them.

Because people need someone sometime to just be mad at. And sometimes when people do things like the Jehovah's and others who go out and actually talk about what they believe with conviction, it is distributing to them and they will get mad, because it calls them to their weakness.

i think its rude to stop at some strangers door. also, i don't think jehovah's witnesses are sincere; they believe only 144 000 ppl will get into heaven, so they don't really want to risk being bumped out of their place by new converts, they just go door-to-door to do their 'good deeds' like their church tells them to

Very simple, if the Jehovahs don't want people to be teed off at them, all they have to do is not annoy people with their calls at the doors. Don't annoy others and they won't annoy you.

It doesn't bother me when they come to my house. In fact I admire the dedication they have to their faith, even though I believe their misguided.
At times I have invited them in using my faith and Bible to point out their erroneous ways. When I do that they normally leave within a few minutes then it's several month's before another one comes knocking.
