i do the same thing but thats when my brother tell me about a girl he saw and i always want to kno because that could have been my sex partner but for her to say that about girls and ask was they ugly is a lil different she might be a lesbian just not telling u.... girls do keep alot secrets from us guys that is

because girls are caddy and some are just mean and raunchy... it sounds like your cousin worries about her own level of prettiness so she is preoccupied wondering if other girls are prettier...
... also depending on what kind of story your telling... knowing whether or not a girl is pretty is important to get a better understanding of the story... sometimes anyways..

maybe she may get jealous if this other girl is better looking, maybe she feels like she's a threat...ask her....or she could be a lesbian....who knows?
