You missed a few points along the way.....satan was created by God. He is not a God, just a fallen angel. Is he powerful enough to overthrow us, yes. God? No.It has already been written how the story will end if you have read revelations all the way through. If you have not, do so and email me if you have any questions.

No thanks, god slaughters babies:
Exodus 11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that ye may know how that the LORD doth put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel

Questions about Jesus, or Questions designed to convert or recruit people to Jesus (or even away from Jesus for that matter)are simply a waste of time. Ditto for trying to clarify minute points of scripture when there are so many different interpretations and editions of text. People have already decided for the most part if they believe in the fiction written in the bible. People who feel God talks to them have psychological problems because hearing voices is a psychological illness. All the major world religions have issues like this.

How do you feel when I tell you that you yourself (not to insult you or make you mad but to instruct in truth to help you) are promoting Satan's lies. There is no burning hell, it is a lie of Satan to make God look wicked to turn people against God as an unloving God and not loving as He truly is, and it is working as I see evidence of that right here. We do not have an immortal soul that survives the death of the body, it is a lie that Satan started in the Garden of Eden when Satan told Eve that she would not die if she ate the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and bad that God said in the day of your eating from it you would surely die. Where was Adam before God created him from the dust, nowhere, he did not exist. And what did God tell Adam, if he ate from the tree of the knowledge of good and bad that he would surely die and return to the dust, he would no longer exist, he would return to the former, non existence. These and other things are lies of Satan and the demons to mislead man away from God. Don't be mislead, the Bible,God's word, says that Satan can cause even the Holy ones to fall. Hear that hinoroam?

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Satan is a CREATED being he cannot overthrow the CREATOR.
If you are asking, if Satan has power to get rid of us than yes. If you don't hold on to Christ and your faith you can be tempted and fall away.

I think you are right. The more directly we attack the work of Satan, the more likely we are to see his assaults. But, we must always remember that in truth, he can stand in front of us and try to scare us, but he cannot touch us, we belong to Jesus Christ.
