it's a pretty unique name, not so common. although it does have a tendency to sound sort of pretentious, in a british sort of way.

I love it!! Different names are definitely the "in" thing to do. I have never heard of anyone named Clive before.

I am the kind of person who truly believes you need to look at the child before you chose a name... get to know your child before you give him a name....we had names picked out for my sona and well he just didnt look like a Phillipe and so he was not named that.. research the name make sure you know what you are naming him..
nothing worse then being called Apple and your brother Adam..

sorry I don't like it but then it's not my baby either. Think of any names that people can call him, the name that comes to my mind is Chive and I wouldn't name my baby after an onion. Give him a good strong man name.

i always think if you can not shut out a name easily than you should think twice about it. also that name sound like a spice i don't think is very good for a guy
