Sounds like you could be a bit stressed or have too many things going on in your life, so your mind can't keep track of everything. If this rings true for you, it might be helpful to slow things down sometimes. Meditation is a fantastic way to give your mind a bit of peace and quiet, but paradoxically, it isn't easy to learn to do it when you're feeling 'buzzy'. You'd be best to find a class or group to learn with.

Hi, I believe we can train the brain like we learn to ride a bike really. We can learn what we want-if we want to learn it-we create our own boundaries really.
Try waking the brain up by little memory tasks and have you ever heard of 'Cardamoms'?
It's herbal and can be brought from the 'herb and spice' rack at the superstore and it is a brain food. Even having the pot open and a sniff now and again is supposed to help improve the memory, try it. It has a slight lemony aroma to it and can be used to flavour foods too, and even make a occasional cup of tea (add honey to taste and sweeten).
Train the brain, and most importantly, tell the brain to do what you want it to-a little like programming it. It will programe and archive what ever you want it to ;) ;) ;) and forget and block what ever it needs to ;) ;) ;)

I too suffer from the same type of "brain cloud" feeling
I actively try to remember things when I am lying in bed at night
I take Ginko Bilbo and that seems to help some
People Will say.. you got too much going on, you cant remember everything..etc
I think I have the beginning stages of Alzheimer's- it runs in the family

Happens all the time to me. A while back I was looking for something and decided to try upstairs. But I got halfway up and couldn't remember what it was I was looking for. So I sat on the staircase and tried to remember what it was I was looking for. I thought it would be a good idea to re-trace my steps so up I stood. But then I couldn't remember whether I was halfway up the stairs or halfway down

i have the same problem, but since i've been taking omega 3 tablets and doing loads of crosswords i find i am a lot better, i also watch a lot of quiz programmes on the tv your brain is a muscle and if you do not use it you will lose it (as they say) but seriously, try doing what i have said and i am sure you will see an improvement in a couple of months, give it a try.

Its hereditary. I have memory problems that have been recognized by several doctors. I have NEVER smoked weed or anything. When they found it in me they looked for it in other members of my family and found that it comes from my poppy's side. His brothers have it, my uncle has it, i have it and probably my kids will. One of my Great Uncles (my poppy's brothers) actually got alls timers (iuno how its spelled). There are excorsizes you can do for it like learning another language, memory games and anything that will cause u to excorsize your memory. Good Luck

i also have memory loss issues. my routine is i write everything down. and when i say everything, i mean, EVERYTHING. i have a little black weekly organizer and i plan everything out. i don't just write appointments, i also write financial stuff and social stuff too. the minute i get an idea, i write it down. sometimes, i even wake up in the middle of the night to write something in it, fearing i may forget it later.

your options depend, on whats wrong.. partial stroke.. altzheimers... all the biggies, and you have to go to the doc..
blood pressure and stress.. well i got medicated for these, and they reduced my bp and pulse, but didnt deal with the anxiety, which it seems was the cause of my memory loss, i self medicated, with valerian root from holland and barret, 450mg. 1 in the morning.. very cheap.. if u have anxiety.. go buy some now

Maybe you're just not interested. Is your mind distracted by something? Are you avoiding something? That's usually why I forget stuff - I'm just not paying attention or deliberately trying to distract myself.
