You get the 80%, pay your dad and be thankful that he hasn't said you wont get it back at all. I would actually suggest that you even try to get 100% of what is owing to show how responsible you can be with the phone.
Once it's paid back remember what you had to go through to pay it off and what your dad would have had to do if you didn't.

I know it is hard to realize but your dad wants the VERY BEST for you!!! You are too young to realize how important an education is in todays world and not just a bit of one a lot of education is required if you go far. Having a phone of your own is a privilege and I think that is not asking too much to maintain a good grade level in exchange for having your own phone...... I would work to improve my grades if it were me.

your dad is a bully
and you shud tell him that by taking your fone away he is putting your safety at risk as most phone boxes are full of wee and the phone doesnt work so if something did happen you couldnt ring for help

get at least 80% so you can get it back. He has the right to take away your phone if he is paying for it. Respect his decision

If u end up not getting 80%, just say to ur dad that u did do ur best and u did try really really hard. he can't make you get 80% cawz it depends wot paper ur doing, if ur doing foundation u mite find it hard cos the grade boundaries r low.

You answer your own question. You get the required 80% and earn your priviledge back. You have no rights until you're 18 and paying your own way.
