President Bush did not have any part in the planning or execution of 9/11, therefore he does not need to apologize for anything. Frankly the Pope should not have apologized for quoting something that is 400 years old. Perhaps the Muslims should apologize for 9/11 and for riots after the Popes speech.

Why? There was no conspiracy. And the Pope did not issue an apology for the statement since he only reference something the Byzantine Emporer in the 14th Century said. The Pope only said he was sorry the Islamic peoples took his message the wrong way. The 9/11 attack was strictly an Islamic terrorist plan and action

Because Bush is NOT guilty of 9/11. It was the Muslims who flew those planes into our buildings that took almost 3000 lives and cost our country billions of dollars, not to mention all the other attacks on Americans before President Bush became President, like the previous attack on the world trade center and our embassy's.

Again the facts are all wrong. The Pope was sorry that the Muslim got so upset. That is not an apology. In regards to President he is defending our nation to protect all citizen even intellectually and morally bankrupt ones like you.

The president played no part in planning 9/11. As far as responsibility for the attacks goes, he owes no apology.

The Pope just said what was in fact the truth.
Bush nor any of his Government had anything to do with 9/11
People like you are very dangerous, armed with no more than a few facts and your opinion you make great accusations and assumptions

For a start you don't address the Pope as his highness lol as his holines. “What Benedict XVI makes it clear is a decisive and uncompromising rejection of any use of violence in the name of religion.”
By citing an obscure Medieval text that characterises Mohammed’s teachings as “evil and inhuman,” Benedict inflamed passions across the Islamic world and has aggravated fears of a “clash of civilisations.”

If, I remember correct it was the previous President that took the Furniture from the White House as a joke. I guess he planned 911 as the same. Guess you got a good laugh from that one, Huh? Because of the time involved, I doubt this President could have planned anything, the planning took place before he was in office. Duh??? But, in my opinion it was neither. Strategically this was this best time for an Attack, when we changed Presidents! It simple Military Strategy, hit when they the most disorganized. Too bad many not learn History in Public Schools, but, maybe they not teach that anymore?

Just apologizing is not enough you have to correct yourself.
If someone has committed any mistake he corrects his mistake then make an apology just like a student who has done his homework wrong will correct the work and then apologizes to the teacher.
