That's like asking why Pepsi instead of Coke.
It's simple. God's name got dropped in front of the right celebrities and now he gets more air-time.

Simply because God is alive and real.
Most people don't get it, till they get the Holy Spirit.
Seeing is believing, and believing is seeing.
Revelation 3:20
'Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me.
John 14:6
Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me.
You can believe these two statements, or not... your choice and freewill. It does not change the fact that once we let go of our preconceived ideas and concepts, and go beyond the lines we have drawn for ourselves, that God can and will reveal Himself to those who seek Him. Only Christianity sets the exclusive condition one must believe in who Christ was and what He did to find God. Nothing "religious" required. Just a simple faith that it may be true. You don't have to "work your way" to find Him. The fact is He simply is there. Zeus never was.

Zeus was one of the many fallen angels who posed as gods to Men. That's why I don't believe in them although Greek mythology may have not been completely false.

I wonder the same thing myself. People will believe in a magical book of parting seas and sticks that turned into snakes, but they doubt Zeus, and Poseidon, and Athena? Just a theory. I don't get it, either.

God answers prayers and Zeus doesn't? Wel what about Krishna then? He answers LOTS of prayers! And how do you know Zeus never answered prayers? I bet there were tons of greeks who would beg to differ with that statement.

Greek mythology is obviously MYTH. God however has evidences to back up a single one and only God, the master designer of everything.
"Thou shalt not have any other God's before me, " is what he says.

Like Jesus said. People make mistakes because they don't
know the Scriptures. Scripture plainly states that there are gods
many, and powers and principalities.
