Islamists do you have any defence that the bigoted teachings of the koran spawn behaviour such as this? Is Mo to be defended more robustly than allah? How on earth do you justify the killing of a 70 year old nun, who worked so devotedly for the down-trodden of Somalia? Do you still insist that islam is a peaceful, tolerant, compassionate religion? Don't come out with your standard defence that terrorists/killers are not muslims. Address the real issue - does the koran not have teachings that inspires such murderous behavior? Why blame the pope when he is being honest?

This will not be the end, they don't know when to stop. They bite the hand that helps them and it makes no sense.
Peaceful "muslims" need to start another religion and seperate themselves from this mess. Don't they understand that the majority are this way and that it is not going to calm down.
What if??? a jihad starts against Islam because everyone just gets tired of all the violence. Will the peaceful ones join in the fight with the terrorists?? They need to think about this because being associated with a group as violent as Islam there will come a day when the violence has to be stopped.
One said that Hitler was a christian..
Christians do not claim to be nazis or a part of Hitlers beliefs..
Muslims claim to be a part of Islam
Islam , Osama, Al Queida, Hezbolla, Iran & their president are all muslims..
Or do you want to seperate from them?? How can you do this when you have the same book and beliefs and the same prophet?? Somewhere if you want to be peaceful you have to seperate yourself from the others..

The Islamic religion is failing fast to disprove the 600 year old letter that the Pope recounted.
It appears that the Pope was correct after all.

Let's see how liberals blame George W. Bush for that! Seriously, there is no other explanation than radical muslims are nothing more than bloodthirsty murderers. They become radical muslims to justify their lust for blood. Did you ever wonder why the muslims have infected the U.S. prison system? They can get a new crop of murderers in there and a potential army when they get out. Religion of peace? Shameful........

Reality keeps slapping people in the face but they won't wake up.
I guess in America 9/11 wasn't enough. We have to have actual video of throat cutting Muslims performing on a morning "Eye Witness News" before most Americans realize we're at WAR.

If - to use your words - Islam is a peaceful, tolerant and compassionate religion, isn't it at least interesting that the Pope's remark about the evil, inhuman and violent nature of Islam is answered by Muslims by ... violence?

"It is unclear if the shooting is connected with strong criticism by a radical Somali cleric about the Pope's recent comments on Islam."

Just because someone looks like a Muslim, and even says they're a Muslim, it does mean they really are. Also, I think whoever shot the nun deserves to die.

Because we are selves do not know how we are gong to die, or when it will happpen, we need to accept Jesus as our savior today, right here and now. We are not promised five minutes from now. IF that nun did not accept Jesus as her savior, and was not born again, she is propably in hell right now.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

Inspite of all the so called good this nun thinks she had done in her life, IF she did not become born again by accepting Jesus as her savior, she will not see the kingdom of heaven. This is the word of God. Catholics do not teach salvation through accepting Jesus as your savior and repent of your sins to Him. They still use a priest and a confessional which goes against the word of God. The only way to God is through His son Jesus and not some priest in a closet.

The pope knew what he was saying. He was not making a slip of the tongue. He knew that his statement had the potential to cause a big reaction, so he should have kept his mouth shut.

Don't assume that all Muslims are violent. Hitler was a Christian, so do the math.
