Put two different metals on it , Like (Iron , Copper) , then you have an anode and a Cathode ...

You can even try this on a Lemon ! But you will get some tiny electricity

The major brands of cola contain phosphoric acid, which is why it rots your teeth. This acid etches the enamel and creates microscopic pits from which decay bacteria cannot be removed by brushing.

An electrovoltaic cell (a battery is just several cells) does not need acid at all. Just about any conductive fluid could be used, it is the dissimilar materials in the plates that create the electric potential..

Remember the experiment where a copper and a zinc rod are pushed into a potatoe?

You can use any acid to make a battery. A common grade-school science experiment involves using a lemon and/or a potato, a copper lead, and a zinc lead to make a simple battery, powerful enough to run a clock. The stronger the acid, the more powerful the battery. Have fun with your experiments!
