Yes, I find it quite funny... but I admit, I have an odd sense of humor.
A bit of a correction, however.. The whole "Papal Infallibility" bit of the Catholics only occurs within a very specific set of conditions, according to their doctrine. If I remember my theology classes correctly, the Pope has this "infallibility seat".. The "Throne of St. Peter" or somesuch.. Anyway, the whole "Papal Infallibility" thing only comes into play when the Pope is sitting in this chair, not something intrinsic to the Pope himself.
It's *thought* that when the Pope sits in this chair, as he does for his major proclamations on points of Catholic Faith, that God inspires him, or directs him, or somesuch.. so that he is thus "expressing the Will of God". Or at least that's how the Catholic doctrine seems to express it.
Personally, I find it all silly. I wonder, for example, why the Catholic Church takes donations, when it could just drive the Pope around in his special chair to pick lottery numbers worldwide and thereby obtain nearly unlimited funding... but I'm an irreverant bastard sometimes.
But, the Pope wasn't sitting in his "infallability chair", when he was giving his speech at that University.. he was standing on a podium.. and thus, he is fallable.
As for the whole "wishing for a holy war" bit....
To be honest, I'm a bit torn on that subject. On one hand, I'd *love* to see fundamentalists the world over engage in a "Murder-each-other-in-the-name-of-God-fest".. Killing off a billion unthinking, extremist religious idiots I think would do the world, humanity, and even worldwide Religion a lot of good. It'd certainly make the world a better place to live in.
But on the other hand... Wars have this really bad way of indescriminately killing and hurting people. Especially when you get Religion involved. I mean, there are always innocent bystanders who get caught up in conflict.. people whose lives are destroyed, who lose loved ones... terrible amounts of suffering... And when you start bringing religious zealotry into the picture, well...
it's almost nothing for these people to take their daily games of "if you don't believe exactly the way I do, you're an agent of Satan" and turn them into "murder everyone who isn't one of US".. which takes it from being the fanatics killing each other off to it being the fanatics trying to kill off EVERYBODY.. and a lot more innocent people would get hurt.
So while I think the idea is entertaining, and that getting rid of all the Islamic Fundamentalists and Christian Fundamentalists and Hindu Fundamentalists and whatever fundamentalists would be a huge blessing for planet earth and the survival chances of humanity.... I'm going to stop a bit before I get to the whole "wishing for war" thing.
Religion in and of itself isn't a bad thing.. it can bring a lot of peace and help to people... it's just when these lunatics start spouting "Our way is the only way" and using that as an excuse to hate and condemn, or even trying to force others into accepting their own extremely narrow and fear-based view of existance that it becomes a problem. Fundamentalism in general I think is one of the great evils of our age.

Pope was not wrong. He did say the rigth thing. Islams should realise that their religion is not a holy one. A holy one has nothing to do with killing or cruelity.
Do you know what is Hala? It's killing of animals by cutting throat. They are that cruel and deliciously eat that kind of meat only.

You know, you sound just like what you described in your question, delusional. Whatever happens between those religions (which are two major religions of the world) will affect every single one of us worldwide negatively.
