1st, if you have an allergy to stings, seek medical attention immediately.
There are many possible treatments to reduce swelling and/or pain. Here are just a few:
Apply ice or a cold compress.
Use a ready-made preparation like "Sting Kill", available at any drugstore.
Dab a baking soda & water paste on the sting OR
apply a drop of ammonia to it. (Seriously.)
Put some chewed-up tobacco on it. (Yuck!)
Rub on some meat tenderizer. (The kind with no seasonings.)
All of these seem to work, but I'm a bit leary of the chewed tobacco.

Well for bees (I guess it would be the same for wasps)..First immediately scrape the stinger off your skin by scraping it away with your finger nail or a credit card (or something similiar) Its important to scrape it off and remove the stinger ASAP because the stinger of a bee continues to pump its venom into your skin. Then I make a paste of baking soda and water and cover it over the area that has been stung.

if you got stung recently try putting mud on it then leave it on for awhile the mud will pull out the stinger from futher releasing the venom in the blood you can keep it clean with peroxide or alcohol to keep it from getting infected if you have an allergy you need to seek medical advice ASAP the symptoms of allergic reactions to stings are the site where you got stung swells and gets red and warm to the touch, your eyes start getting puffy, you have trouble breathing start running a fever if you think you cant make it to the hospital call 911 cause you only have minutes to reach a hospital or there will be a fatality

was only stung once by a wasp - by my eye. I was 7 years old and the adults used mud. I am now 31 and looking back - the mud worked. It was uncomfortable but it took away the pain - and it didn't seem to take long at all. (but that was a long time ago!)

Make a poltice out of Adolph's Meat Tenderizer. It will nullify the venom, but needs to be done asap. It can also help delay an allergic response long enough to get the victim to a hospital.
