Is it when you're talking to your own conscience? How would you be able to tell if god is actually talking to you? That sounds a little psychotic, don't you think? It doesn't make any sense to me.....please help me understand.

I said, "hello CHRISTIANS", not apemen, I really don't expect people who think they evolved from monkeys to have an intelligent answer....get lost, go finish evolving or something.

usually like your conscience except its always in line with the principles & values of the bible & not what u feel at that time.
eg. when u felt that u need to apologized to someone, if it's your conscience, logically won't bother to humble yourself to do it, but God voice u tell u contrary to your need & more on doing the right thing like His word says.
also u can converse like email, He send His words to u by u flipping coincidentally to a page in the bible that has the exact word u want to hear for that day.
God can talk audibly too, i not experience that for far.

Very good question. I pray but have really never heard god’s voice talking to me. Do you hear God talking to you? I truly believe in intelligence behind creation and kind of figure this is the way God wants things. If you want God to talk to you, ya might try praying every day for God to speck to you. Then quiet your mind and just listen. Ya know I kind of wonder when I hear Christians say God told them something or other. Maybe he talks to some people but not me. I believe there are spiritual powers out there and have had some experience in that area. I think I’m going to ask to hear from people who hear God’s voice.

All I can tell you is keep asking Him questions and one day you will hear His voice distinct and clear as if you are having a conversation with any one else. He will answer you with love and wisdom . You will know it is God because His answers will resonate in your soul which is your very life being, your essence.. A part of you will awaken from it's long sleep and you will begin to understand His Majesty and Glory. You are part of Him as we all are and He loves you more than you can or ever will perceive or conceive while in this life form.

The Holy Spirit answers us in many ways. It might be some
words on a sign. Or something we hear in a conversation.
The Holy Spirit is called the Comforter. Have you ever worried
about something, and a realization, a thought came into your mind that helped you better understand the situation? That was
the Holy Spirit comforting you.

Does not make sense to me either. I guess your conscience is a higher power. So you say a little payer for you; your either reasoning or really psychotic and may need some drug therapy.

All I can say is this: even though you don't know He's listening, He is. If you feel that you are talking merely with yourself, just tell God you're talking to Him. He'll listen.
