Do not judge ISLAM from some Muslim people, not all MUSLIMS give good example of what ISLAM is really about. We cannot judge Christianity from CHRISTIAN people because they are hardly any one practices the real CHRISTIANITY these days.

I don't know that the Pope did attack Islam. I think his comments were badly interpreted.
- The Pope is not a politician. He does not control or have influence on the Isrealis. Why does he have an obligation to speak out constantly on the Lebanon.
- The Roman's killed Jesus, not the Jews. He has spoken about this at length
I don't understand the next line of your question.
Back to the recent speach, as I said I do not belive that the Pope accused Islam of being a violent faith. However events since then rather appear to prove that it is. I suggest that you try and find a way to stop your fellow Muslims murdering nuns before you start complaining about what people say about you.

Islam didn't reach anyone without force? Ask all the maimed and survivors of muslim fanatics in Africa. You convert or die, that's the code. The pope didn't attack Islam, he read part of a manuscript from the 1300th century. How do muslims react to being called violent? Yep, they burn churches, threaten to kill the pope, and kill a 60-year old nun, her bodyguard and a hospital worker in Somalia. And yeah, they took over Somalia by force, you really should pay attention to the news. Islam is oppressive and violent, not to mention ignorant. I mean come on, they fight being called violent by murdering innocent people. Is that logical or even half-way intelligent? Just stupid and evil. Murder is murder, and its a sin.
Face it, as long as Islam condones murder, it will continue to be evil. "Thou shalt not murder" doesn't mean "unless they don't believe the same thing I do". If Mohammed said murder of non-muslims was okay, then its obvious he was not a prophet, at least not a prophet of God. He may have been satan's henchman, but he wasn't God's.
A lot of people are under the impression the simpliest thing would be to nuke the entire mid-east, get rid of all the murdering extremists. Unfortunately, there are many innocent people over there, so I don't think that's the answer, though of course it would work, but that would make us murderers too, and we understand the "thou shalt not murder" commandment.

Your key word is "appeared" Have you been to the Popes website. Have you read the historical recounts he was talking about? The pope said nothing to slander Islam.
This event gave the Islamic Faith a chance to prove to the world that Islam is a mature and deserving religion. Islam had a chance to disprove the 600 year old letter that said Islam spreads their religion by violence and the sword and how have they answered it.
Killing a nun, burning churches, and protesting in the streets.
or are these not considered violence by the islamic faith?

It is other people that are ignorant, by not understanding what the Pope was conveying, to begin with. Before making a big commotion Muslims need to get their facts right, but as usual they listen to others and then follow like donkeys.
