That is what I have been saying, and every time I post it on a question saying how horrible and evil the Islamic religion is, I get bashed. It is being turned into an evil religion by groups of people who read and decipher the biblical text the way that they want to. There are still Islamic groups condeming the RADICAL Islamic groups and saying that they don't support them. Most people are just putting the whole religion into one group and not really looking into it or learning about it in anyway at all. They are just the ignorant ones who like to have something or someone to hate. Thank you for posting this.

The existance of islam did not survive by being about blowingup stuff.
It did survive by preaching values of a cohesive society in a less than peaceful era gone by, as did other surviving religions such as Christianity, Budhism and Taoism.
Each religion has its appointed political and military arm, from Saracens to the German Holy Roman Emperor, Frederick Barbarrosa, representing the Church in Rome at one point in time.
The recent violence is more about groups of people who carry the badge of Islam to portray their cause. They appear more fragmented as portrayed on news but really comprises of different tribes, such as the Hisbollah, akin to early days of Islam and Christianity.
Just as if one could say "I am the right hand of God" as did Joan D'arc. Her cause was to use Christianity to gather the faithful to gain perceived liberation to form a totally French state, instead of the status quo of the time. North of France was Anglo-French rather than pure French at the time.
One might say that Islam did not reach its perceived satisfaction in forming a sufficiently large population, which Christianity did achieve by dominating most of the old european world.
The closest equivalent to Islam would be a pure Islamic state of comprising of the almalgated Islamic values, perhaps taking the geography of the whole of Arabia.
As did the Church of Christ, more accurately Church of Rome, reach out to sufficiently large masses, once the ideas promulgated to a saturated extent, it hit a plateau. Presently, the fall in Church of Rome and followers of similar offshoots are evident in Europe amongst the younger generation.
Islam however, has not reached that extent of success for a sufficiently long duration. I am sure it would eventually get there and similarly hit a plateau. That is assuming the religion, which all "true faiths" claim are not religion but a faith, is choosen of unforced free will.
There is a common tread with many religions, that is the belief in betterment of man in society. Abeit each has its own non-negotiable method as to how that might come about. Nevertheless, all drive at a common cause, which is all the more ironic and sad.

Ummm, they used weapons that were available at the time of course. Idiots and madmen are not a modern invention. If one only takes the time to actually READ the Quran, it becomes obvious that it is a religion of peace - to fellow Muslims. Everyone else is given a choice: convert or die. It tells its' followers to love their brothers, and to treat those in subjection with kindness. But dont dare tell them they're wrong or cry personal freedom....

Your question is so stupid and infantile I had to envision your different posts just to verify you weren't doing a Parody ! tell me why do Muslims experience the might desire to bypass around chanting "we are # a million ! , we are # a million !" and closing down all of us who factors out all the fallacies of the Quran ? Is it because you already know that your faith isn't smart and it replaced into created by using a violent sufferer of intercourse abuse ? D@!Z ... you will see that maximum folk of the greater moderen converts to Islam are the main poorly knowledgeable and stricken people on earth . people addicted to drugs and imprisioned in the united kingdom and united states of america . people eating airborne dirt and dust to purpose to stay alive in Africa , people who've been believing in superstitions their entire life as their in trouble-free terms desire .
