Do I need to use a different coaxial cable type to span the 20m distance?

75 ohm cable should hold the signal perfectly. As a general rule of thumb, you can push a TV signal at 75 ohms across 100 meters of cable with no loss of quality. Make sure the connector is rated at 75 ohms, also.

When you see any of the hundreds of cable tv trucks in a parking lot or on the side of road or at McDonalds, ask them if they would sell you a barrel and what ever size extension that you need. I worked as a line technician for the cable company for ten years and never refused a question like that. Plus, I never took any money for it either. Offer the technician a cheeseburger and you will surely get what piece you need. Also, you won't have any attenuation by "extending" the cable with a barrel. You may have attenuation the longer the extension. At 450 MHZ you will have approx. 4 and a half db loss at 100 feet.
