They're just not used to the "new you". If you feel comfortable with your new wardrobe, wear it proudly :)
Age is only a state of mind.

You know what? It is important most of the time what your family thinks but you are 45 years old, and if you like the way you look and you feel good, then feel confident it's what is right for you! Don't worry about it! I don't know how old your kids are, am guessing in teens? They think everybody, everything is old beyond 25,lmao, so just do what's right for you! If I listened EVERY time my kids and hubbie had to say something, I wouldn't leave the house and I'd be confused on what's right all the time? You've got your own mind, your own sense of self, so use it! Be happy, enjoy it!

Age is a number. My way of dress in no way dates me to being almost 60. I wear what I want and if peple think I'm trying to re-live my youth to bad. I'm getting old, but not going down without a fight.
