Matthew 23:34 For this reason, here I (Jesus) am sending forth to you prophets and wise men and public instructors. Some of them you will kill and impale and some of them you wil scourge in your synagogues and persecute from city to city.

Amos 3:7.. for the Sovereign Lord YHWH will not do a *single thing* unless he has REVEALED his confidential maters to his servants the prophets.

Rev. 2:21 And I gave her time to repent, but she is not willing to repent of her fornication. 22) Look! I am about to throw her into a sickbed, and those committing adultery with her into great tribulation.

Luke 3:8 Therefore produce fruits that befit repentance. And do not start saying within yourselves, 'As a father we have Abraham.' For I say to you that God has power to raise up children to Abraham from these stones.

Acts 5:38,39 "And so, under the present circumstances, I say to you, Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, you will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise you may perhaps be found fighters against God."

Mark 8:35 For whoever becomes ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of man will also be ashamed of him when he arrives in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

If you are quoting scripture how can a prophet have said this a week and a half ago? I am confused.

i am not sure what you mean by this
but i know of no such prophet!
and we must remember a prophet walking this earth is a man or women and not someone who sits beside god in the heavens
unless god commands this
and then i guess only god would know which prophets are truly holy.

but in these times we should all be aware of the fact that many false prophets are wondering the earth confusing the people into beleiving in their own secular beleifs.
we really are all the same.
"GODS CHILDREN" we just have not been able to grow up in 3000 years!!!

Who is this prophet and what has he to do with 2 Thess 2:1-12?

Thessolonians 2 was written 2,000 years ago, not a week and a half ago. If some self-proclaimed prophet actually said that a week and a half ago, then that person would be a false prophet, because all the prophecies that have to happen first haven't happened yet.

There is no prophet in the present world. Prophet Mohammad was the last one to guide this missguided world. Jesus was not a god or he had never claimed to be god, then how can he destroy the world in 40 days. Lets wait for not 40 but 400 days.

Deu 18:22 When a prophet speaketh in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him.

A day to God is 1000 years, when was this written? If it was someone recently claiming to be a prophet, whatever.

We're safe then.

The creationists tell me that 1 'god day' = 1000 man years.

So Jesus is scheduled for the year 6006, accoring to creationist logic.
plenty of time.

Thessalonians was supposedly written approximately 1950 years ago, if some nut said something in reference to a bible quote a week and a half ago, I missed that news item

I haven't heard that before, could you get more info. Who was the prophet? I did not see it in Paul, Silas, and Timothy' letter to the Church of Thessalonica.
