I see a question and I want my answer to be first. That makes me feel important.

You saw the movie "The Importance of Being Earnest", well what about the earnesty of being important?

I have a plan. But there is a catch. The Yahoo Abuse Squad is watching.

Here's my plan. I see a likely question and I quickly type a few words and hit SEND. My answer goes on first. Then I can add to it at my leisure. Once on first, it stays on first. Even if my whole answer turns out to be large, it stays on first.

But yesterday my plan didn't work cause when I attempted to add my final answer to the original quick words I had earlier put up, they were gone. Then came a notification from the Yahoo! Abuse Squad and I was charged with 2 counts of abuse,

Then arrived the formal charge in triplicate, one copy going to my email, one copy to the Abuse File and one copy to the Yahoo! Abuse Court dossier. Needlessy to say I was dismayed.

What do you think of that?

Another thing, I don't want my answer to be the twenty-seventh, cause by then the asker's eye has glazed over and likely the other one too.

Anyway, in this case I thought I was being quick but the Yahoo! Abuse Squad was quicker.

I think you were abusing the system (in a very dork like way none the less) and you were caught and you are being punished for it. You have learned a lesson and most likely will not do it again.

Why do people think being first is better? People will choose best answer based on the quality of your answer. You might want to think about why you need yahoo answers to make you feel important.

I think that trying to reserve your spot in line until you're ready to be in line is a good way to get an abuse report filed.

I'd recommend you form your answer, then post it. Sometimes, you'll be first. Sometimes, you won't. Always, you'll avoid the wrath of those who recognize your wily ways.

Sounds like you got caught trying to work the system to your advantage. Whats the big deal about being first anyways?

first off don't be abusive , that way you won't be reported and won't get your answer kicked off . secondly answer a question as soon as it's posted and if it's a genuine answer and is the best answer you will get voted best answer , that way your answer will always stay first and you can gain 10 points
