The industrial waste product dihydrogen-oxide is is spewing from factors, cars and even homes. It's released into the atmosphere and makes its way into our rivers and streams and oceans.

Given all the climate change, isn't anyone concerned about this!?

What about the health of our children?

Good one. I think they should be drinking at least 2 liters a day of the stuff. It's the elixir of life. Besides, without dihydrogen oxide, what would we mix our Kool Aid powder with?

Yes, according to the Surgeon General we should all drink about 64 ounces (1.8 liters) of dihydrogen oxide per day.

Hopefully soon, the only waste product coming from the tailpipe of our cars will be the gaseous form of this complex molecule.

You're absoultely right though...if one is immersed for too long in this chemical, it can cause a horrible case of prune hands!

You see, the government can excercise control by taxing heavily on car owners and make car a mode of transport only for the wealthy and privileged. traffic will be much smoother and healthier air for everybody, but the downside is that the ordinary people will be forced to stick wif buses and they may not be used to things moving much slower. Besides, government do make lots of money from car sales tax and they wouldnt want to spoil the business. you can gather enuff people to send petitions for the environment authority to enforce stricter regulations for factory operations. But again, its going to affect the efficiency of industrialisation and competitiveness of factories and the nation economic progress.

As soon as the U.S. elects a Democratic president in 2008, things will start to improve in the environmental front. Especially if Al Gore is appointed to the president's cabinet... Secretary of the Interior, maybe?

Most people don't care about anything that doesn't immediately affect them. They're busy involved in the situations of their own little world. People see these ecological problems as something that will happen far away in the future and not as something that has been happening.
