Isn't it nice when you have a local problem to blame?

Yeah, electoral tricks and tips.More and more brainwashed people are tricked into believing this to be a critical issue. It's obviously a diversion(if you got some brains),the shitty conservative rhetoric is meant ,on one hand,to justify the results of their ****** up policies:
job loss(immigrants don't take the jobs citizens want and compete for)
budgetary deficits,
a shitty (neglected)health care system(what about the detrimental deals big drug companies?)
failing educational system(yeah sure, blame it on the the immigrants and their kids who make 1-2% of the school-aged population )
failed social safety net (illegal immigrants ain't entitled to welfare)
inequitable tax system,
decreasing economic resources

and ,on the other hand,to distract attention from the administration's heinous crimes, the socio-economical and moral implications of the tragic Irak hoax, the mismanaged Katrina crisis and it's ramifications in terms of political/electoral capital.

It's sooooooo easy to draw up fake statistics and hit people with over-inflated,alarming data.

LOL it's like Irak and WMDs...a big fat lie
I think illegal immigration is a problem, but not a major problem

It is time for the nonsense to stop and the government needs to focus on the illegals. It is not diverting attention, but focusing on one issue. All illegals should be taken to the border and returned to whatever they left in their own country. We didn't ask them to come and we don't need the aggravation and the polemics created by a lot of poorly educated, unskilled workers that bleed the health care and social system. They need to look to their own government to correct the problem, not run away like cowards and expect that all will be perfect elsewhere. We do not need hostility from the ones here, so why should we accept them when they only complain and criticize Americans...they can't even bother to attempt to fit in by learning the language...My best thought is that they should all be imprisoned and forced to work for a period of two years before being deported...and they should all be sent to Russia.

No, it is putting the focus on the most important issue the United States have ever faced......all of these illegals are threatening our country like never before. With the exception of Pearl Harbor we have never been threatened as a Nation on our own soil! Bin Laden killed about 3000 people this is incoincidental to the number that is threatened by illegals - I am not talking about dying physically but rather the death of the way of life we and our ancestors fought to perpetuate!

Illegal immigration is just one of many problems facing the US today.
1. War in Iraq
2. Terrorism
3. Poverty
4. Crime
5. Unemployment
6. Taxes
7. Reliance on fossil fuels
8. Political corruption
9. Inadequate health care
10. Opportunities, Opportunities, Opportunities.....
Notice illegal immigration didn't make my top 10 list of concerns.

Stopping the flow of Illegal aliens and securing our borders is much more than an illegal alien problem.
In order to help prevent terrorist and terrorist weapons from entering the USA we MUST secure our border(s), both north and south.

Like health care, drugs, prostitution, schools, social security, national defense. Oh wait, if we got rid of illegal immigrants there wouldn't be as many other problems would there

Start writing to each show in the news media that we need more important stories-- like bad voting machines, the Patriot Act and other issues that protect our rights. They are giving us soft stories because they are afraid you will not watch important news. Tell them you are ready to hear what you need to hear and not just be entertained. Otherwise, they will hide EVERYTHING.

Still you can watch Keith Olbermann on MSNBC at 8PM to get stronger news.

Isn't it nice when you have something to take the attention off you.
