My maternal grandfather was a Baptist pastor, and he and his family told us to attend church every Sunday. Why do some people deny this is a big part of Christianity? It is easy to find the reason for it. After the service, three plates are passed around for regular offering, special offering and building fund. They should be called offering for preacher's new suits, new car and new watch. If someone skips church too often, the preacher may be forced to buy a Ford, not a Cadillac.

You will always have your freedom of choice to choose whether to go to church every sunday or not.
Reason why you go to sunday service is: The Bible says so.
1. Hear the word of God from pastor.
Romans 10:17 (NIV)
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ.
2. Gather and fellowship with His people.
Acts 2:42-47 (NIV)
42They devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. 43Everyone was filled with awe, and many wonders and miraculous signs were done by the apostles. 44All the believers were together and had everything in common. 45Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need. 46Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people.
It is more of whether you are ready to follow Jesus all the way or be selective which is not believing at all. I will encourage you to pray and ask God to make a way for you so that you can be available and be used to devoting sunday (your church's worship day) to Him. Its like a relationship with your father, you will at least see and visit your father once a week don't you? If you love him and longs to know him, be with him.

First, I want to tell you that you can't "go to church". We are the Church. The Christian people are the Church.
We are asked to meet together with other Christians in order to worship and praise God together, strengthen each other, tithe, and work together to help orphans, widows, and those who need help. Another reason is for the friendship of other Christians. All of this can be done with or without a building.
God says that His temple is not made with human hands, we are the temple of His Holy Spirit. Which means that, if we allow it, His Spirit lives in us and worship is a life style when we love God,

There are no rules in the Christian religion that I know of that says you have to go to church every Sunday to worship God. I can worship God at home, in my car, in an airplane, anywhere and anytime. Sometimes my wife & I have Bible study at home or watch a church service on tv instead of going to church. That's what's great about America...freedom of religion and freedom to choose where you go,& when you go.I was never forced to go as a child either. I always enjoyed going & it was my choice.

Everyone has their own views. My opinion - being a "Christian" and believing in God, Christ and the Holy Spirit - and all that comes with that... does not mean you have to sit in a church every Sunday. I believe God would approve of you even if you don't; as long as you believe and you can free yourself from "your sins" - churches... I have mixed feelings about a building labeled by people as being a "holy place" - really... do we mere mortals make those choices???

Not all Christians go to church on Sunday. Some go on Saturday. And none of it is compulsory - it's because they enjoy meeting with God!

In the first place the body of believers is the church not the building you go to to worship together. Being ablre to attend worship with the fellow believers is a blessing you learn new and more things others have things to share about their livees that can be very upliftingChristians usually go to join with fellow believers because they want not to because they have to.

[Hebrews 10:25] Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
