im planning to buy a new laptop but i dont know anything about macs... im currently using windows xp.

i believe window's 4 the simple fact that more than 90 % of computers run windows

macs are alot more expensive. That's why i dont buy them. If you can afford a mac, try knowing more information if its really worth it. If you like games, I think windows is a much better choice. Not sure, didnt buy my laptop ^^;;; But for me even if I can afford a mac, I wouldnt buy it because I'm more comfortable with windows:)

Mac support and very useful all visuall thing and more stronger than windows. Windows isn't popular software for graphic. If I were you
I would buy a mac.

You can get a Mac or a PC and put a Windows OS on it these days if you want to stay with what you know.
It all depends on which company and models you buy from. (Don't go with eMachines because they tend to be slow and a hassel.)

I preferred a Dell with WinXP for professional. But a Mac can be really great if u like blazing graphics & Media!

Neither. Linux is by far superior. My suggestion is to purchase windows, install first (You must install windows first), partition your hard drive and install Linux Sobe (A user friendly version of Linux). Use windows when you need to but, learn Linux on your free time. If you do this you will not regret it.
